The Rules Change Committee (RCC) is inviting all WESM Members and interested parties to submit comments to the Independent Electricity Market Operator of the Philippines (IEMOP) Proposed Amendments to the Retail Rules and Manuals on Switching Requirement related to the Certification of No Outstanding Balance (ORCP-RR-RM-22-07).
The proposal aims to provide a mechanism for Suppliers (i.e., Retail Electricity Suppliers and Renewable Energy Suppliers) and Retail Customers (i.e., Contestable Customers and GEOP End-Users) to comply with the switching requirements for Retail Customers to have no outstanding balance with a Network Service Provider (NSP) or an incumbent Supplier.
